Closing Chapter One: With Gratitude, Always

As I close out Chapter One of Faebles Tomes & Teas, I wanted to pause—not to rush forward—but to say thank you.

In a world where it would have been easy to choose Amazon, or any number of big-box retailers, you chose something smaller. More intentional. And while that choice may have felt simple in the moment, it mattered more than you’ll ever know.

Faebles didn’t begin with scale or polish or perfection. It began as an introduction—an offering. A hope that somewhere out there were people who needed what stories and warm cups of tea have always offered me: comfort, calm, and a place to breathe.

This first chapter became about finding one another.

  • Some of you found us at markets.

  • Some through the book club.

  • Some through an order placed online, a shared post, or a quiet follow from afar.

However you arrived, your support helped shape this first chapter, and we are deeply grateful.

There were moments along the way that still make me laugh. Like arriving at that very first market, opening the carriage doors… and discovering that every single book had tipped over onto the floor during transit. Not exactly the polished debut one imagines—but the doors opened anyway. And people still came. And the magic still happened.

And then there were the gasp moments.

Those beautiful pauses when someone stepped inside, looked around, and realized this place was for them. A quiet, safe escape. A pocket of calm. A space where nothing was demanded—only offered.

Those moments are why Faebles exists.

As this chapter comes to a close, nothing that matters is being left behind. The comfort, the quiet, the stories, the warmth — they carry forward.

The story continues — intentionally — shaped by the same care, curiosity, and sense of welcome that brought Faebles to life in the first place. We’re grateful you’re here for what comes next.

If you’d like to stay connected as the story unfolds, we’ll begin sending weekly emails once market season opens in March—sharing where we’ll be, what’s new, and what stories are taking shape along the way. You’re always welcome to join the mailing list if you’d like updates when they’re available.

Every transformation begins with the courage to turn the page.

With gratitude,

Shannon Garza
