June Is Audiobook Month: The Maasiverse Reading Guide & ACOTAR Reread

Many of you know my story and how reading helped pull me out of a difficult season a few years ago.
What you may not know is that I didn't do it with a stack of books beside my bed. I did it through audiobooks.
I have rheumatoid arthritis, and over the years I've lost some dexterity in my hands. Holding a book for long periods can be difficult. I frequently drop things, and there are days when turning pages aren't as easy as I'd like them to be.
At the same time, I was traveling extensively for work. Long hours in the car. Long flights. Long stretches of time spent alone with my thoughts.
And during one of the busiest, most stressful periods of my life, I rediscovered audiobooks.
They've been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
As a kid, I fell asleep listening to stories on tape. As an adult, somewhere between responsibilities, deadlines, and the pace of everyday life, I drifted away from them. Then, during a season when I desperately needed an escape, I found my way back.
For the first time in a long time, my brain got a break.
I wasn't responsible for anyone.
I wasn't solving problems.
I wasn't making decisions.
No one needed anything from me.
For a few hours at a time, I could simply be an observer.
Long drives became adventures. Flights became opportunities to disappear into another world. Hours that once felt exhausting suddenly felt restorative.
I escaped into stories.
And it was amazing.
I chose well for my escape.
I found Sarah J. Maas.

If you've never experienced her books before, Sarah J. Maas is a master of worldbuilding. She creates immersive worlds filled with dynamic, flawed, courageous, and deeply relatable characters. Before long, you stop feeling like you're reading about them.
You feel like you're walking beside them.
When they hurt, you hurt.
When they celebrate, you celebrate.
When they fight, you fight.
Their victories feel personal.
Their losses feel personal.
And somehow, across thousands of pages, they become friends.
What makes her work even more remarkable is that she has created not one world, but three.
Prythian.
Erilea.
Midgard.
Each unique. Each unforgettable. Each leaving readers desperate for just one more chapter.
With readers eagerly awaiting the next chapter in Prythian, it feels like the perfect time to return to the Maasiverse.
That's why we're launching The Library Between Worlds Reading Society.
At Faebles Tomes and Teas, we've always believed that stories are better when they're shared.
Some of my favorite reading memories aren't tied to a specific book. They're tied to conversations. The theories shared over coffee. The texts that simply said, "Have you gotten to Chapter 55 yet?" The collective heartbreak, excitement, and joy that comes from experiencing a story alongside other readers.
That's the spirit behind The Library Between Worlds Reading Society.
This isn't homework. It isn't a race to finish the most books. It's an invitation to journey through these worlds together, to celebrate the characters we've come to love, and to create a community of readers who understand exactly why we're still thinking about fictional people long after we've turned the final page.
Whether you're discovering these stories for the first time or returning for a reread, we hope you'll join us as we journey back through the Maasiverse together.
We'll be reading, listening, discussing, theorizing, laughing, crying, and probably screaming at our books more than once.
Most importantly, we'll be doing it together.
