Turning the Page to November’s Tale

There’s a certain hush that settles over October as it tiptoes toward its end — a quiet that feels both haunted and hopeful. The candles have burned low, the pumpkins are softening on their stoops, and the air carries that bittersweet scent of endings. But if you listen closely, just beyond the rustle of leaves, there’s something else waiting... the promise of a new story.

This is the moment when we turn the page, and I can hardly wait to share where our next chapter will take us.

We’ve wandered through haunted houses, faced ghosts of memory and mind, and brewed countless cups of courage (and tea). But November calls for something different — something gentle, wondrous, and healing.

Our Traveling Tome Book Club pick for November is The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods.

A tale spun from the threads of fate, love, and the magic that lingers between the pages, The Lost Bookshop is for every reader who’s ever believed the right story finds you exactly when you need it most. Hidden doors, parallel lives, and the timeless comfort of a bookshop that feels like home — it’s everything a November heart craves.

And what better companion to such a story than a tea inspired by literature itself? This month, we’ll be sipping The Brontë Sisters’ Black Tea Blend from Simpson & Vail — a fragrant infusion of pear, apple, and gooseberry that’s as sweet and nostalgic as an afternoon stroll through an autumn orchard. It’s a cup that reminds us that beauty often hides in the quiet places, waiting to be rediscovered.

Later this week, I’ll share our full discussion schedule and themed activities, but for now, consider this your gentle nudge to clear a space on your nightstand and make room for magic.

Because every transformation — every new beginning — starts with the courage to turn the page.

To the stars who listen, and the dreams that are answered.
